How to add an activity

Click on Add – Academic partnership activities or Add – Community contribution activities.
Log in with your WesternAccount and password.
If you hold multiple positions select the position relevant to this activity from the list provided.
If applicable select your research centre.
Add names of all other Western Sydney University staff involved in this activity. Enter surnames, press 'Search Surname' and 'Select'.
Enter/select activity details and click Next.
Enter/select partner(s) details and click Next.
Provide you optional comments about this activity and click Next.
Review your activity information and edit if necessary by clicking the [edit] button on the right of the relevant section.
If your entry is incomplete leave the default option This entry is currently a draft. selected and then click Save. If your entry is complete deselect the This entry is currently a draft. option and then click Submit.
Once the entry is accepted into the database you can return to it for editing or updating at any time through the Edit/Update – Academic partnership activities or Edit/Update Community contribution activities option of the main menu.

How to edit/update an activity

Click on Edit/Update – Academic partnership activities or Edit/Update Community contribution activities.
Log in with your WesternAccount and password.
Select the activity you wish to edit from the list provided.
Edit your activity information by clicking the [edit] button on the right of the relevant section
If your entry is incomplete leave the default option This entry is currently a draft. selected and then click Save. If your entry is complete deselect the This entry is currently a draft. option and then click Submit.
Once your modified entry is submitted it is forwarded to a database moderator for review. An email regarding the status of your new entry will be sent to you within 24 hours. Once the entry is accepted into the database you can return to it for editing or updating at any time.
Activity life cycle

Each partnership activity remains in the active database one year beyond completion. After this period the activity is moved to the database archive. This archive contains all inactive entries and old versions of the modified active entries. The activity owners can view their archived entries but cannot modify them. The activity owner can inactivate an entry prior to one year on its completion or reactivate an archived entry. For details see the corresponding sections below.

Select your archived activity you wish to view from the list provided.
